Birthday Wishes!

Today I am sharing a card I made recently for a friend. I used a Memory Box Stencil- "Flower Power" and "Fresh Foliage" Die also from Memory Box.
The greeting is a Penny Black Die-"Splendid Wishes". Take a look at Bizzy Becs Online Store for these goodies and many other supplies.
I inked the stencil with Distress Inks- Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon and Mowed Lawn. I am trying hard to master the art of blending the inks, I have always found this hard to do!

Have Some Tea!

I made this card recently for a dear friend who is having a tough time at the moment. The cute image is from Stamping Bella: Maisy and Madeline Have Some Tea which I coloured with my copics. The image is an Avery Elle Stamp : "What's Up"which I coloured with my copics. The happy sentiment is from the Sizzix Tim Holtz Alteration Thinlits Die"Celebration Script Words". I did add glossy accent to the glasses, but did it after I had taken the photo!

21!

It has been ages since I used my stencils so when my nephew had his 21st birthday recently I was determined to use one on his card.I used "Shine" from Memory Box. The die is also from Memory Box - "Large Ringlets".  The Birthday is "Handwritten" a Little B Die and the 21st is Joy Crafts- "Alphabet and Numbers". The balloon is from Stampin' Up - "Celebrate Today" which I stamped with Ranger Archive Ink- "Cobalt". I used Heidi Swap Teal Blue spray mist on the stencil.

Welcome Baby!

September already.....how fast is this year going!! The beginning of the month brings a new "Anything Goes" Challenge at Bizzy Becs. There is a mystery prize (dies or stamp) up for grabs if you enter.

Birthday Wishes!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums out there. I hope you had a lovely day and were all spoilt by your families. I have had a wonderful day and felt very loved.

I made this card recently for a very special lady who turned 90. I stamped a Darkroom Door Emulsion Frame Stamp using Bundled Sage Distress Ink. The die is from Frantic Stamper and is called "Long Stemmed Rose". I used Pickled Raspberry Distress Ink to colour it.

Wedding Congratulations!

Last week my family and friends celebrated our daughter's wedding. It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and a very happy bride and groom. My husband and I were very proud parents as our daughter looked stunning (as all brides do!).
This is the card I made for the newly weds.

I used a Cheery Lyn Designs Die -"Wedding Vows" which I cut and only used the bride, groom and arch.The flower heart is an Impression Obsession Die and the hanging hearts are Memory Box "Precious Hearts". The Congratulations is from the Frantic Stamper "Accolades" Set and the Love greeting is a Die-Versions "Sweet Wordlets".  I have used a variety of dies: The love is an MFT Die called Heart Full of Love. The Tiny Bow Die is  Memory Box and the love flowers are an Impression Obsession Die. Bizzy Becs Online Store sell all these dies.
The background hearts were stamped using Summer Sky Memento Ink. The heart is from a Tim Hotz set called Artful Things The banner and greeting are Stampin Up.
